Fulltext

From Swissbib

Jump to: navigation, search

swissbib is capable of indexing full text - being defined as unstructured textual data looking from the structured metadata.

Indexed data types

Although swissbibs' data-pool contains different categories of full text the main focus lays on abstracts and indexes. Other textual data like on-line available dissertations and other digitized documents are not taken into account.

Extraction rules

The abstracts and indexes are selected by URL-based rules. These cover the libraries' document servers and the paths for abstracts and indexes.

Indexed source systems

The following source systems provide their abstracts and indexes to swissbib for indexing:

  • IDS St. Gallen
  • IDS Basel/Bern
  • IDS Luzern
  • IDS Zurich University
  • Swiss National library
  • German National library
